Light Machines provides innovative benchtop CNC machines and advanced manufacturing training systems.
Founded in 1982, Light Machines pioneered the use of bench-top CNC machines in the educational marketplace. To complement its CNC mills and lathes, Light Machines also developed CAD/CAM software and training curriculum. Light Machines quickly established itself as a leader in the manufacture of CNC training tools.
In
1990 Light Machines brought its innovation to the industrial market by
introducing the proLIGHT series of CNC mills and
lathes for prototyping and industrial training.
In
1996, Light Machines introduced full-featured industrial bench-top mills
with the Benchman® series of CNC machines. Serving a wide range of
industrial applications, such as jewelry, graphite machining and
medical, the versatile Benchman® line was embraced by many market
leaders.
In
2000 Light Machines, Inc. merged with Eshed Robotec to form one company
operating under the name intelitek,
inc. Since then, intelitek
continues to raise the standards of performance and versatility with its
new offerings of superior machines under the Light Machines name at
unrivaled prices.
In
2004 intelitek unveiled two new machines: the Benchman®
MX and the eXpertMill VMC-0600. The
Benchman MX, the new flagship of the Benchman® line, is fine tuned to
the unique applications of the industrial market. The eXpertMill
VMC-0600 is a breakthrough in CNC prototyping, training, and
light production with an unmatched starting price.
